Bangor City 1876 have rounded off a domestic treble by winning the Ardal Northern League Cup.

Michael Johnston's side came from behind to beat Llanuwchllyn 3-1 in the final in Porthmadog, having already clinched both the Ardal North West title and the FAW Trophy.

Saturday's showpiece - between the two Ardal League champions from the North - attracted a bumper crowd of 1,056 at Y Traeth.

Ardal North East winners Llanuwchllyn went ahead through Meilir Williams after 19 minutes, before Corrig McGonigle drew level from the penalty spot ten minutes after the break.

A lengthy stoppage saw Tom Creamer treated after hitting the wall behind the goal, before Cai Powell Roberts struck in the 93rd minute to clinch one more trophy for City this season.

Both sides will meet again in the Cymru North next term - with City returning after a year's absence while Llanuwchllyn make their second-tier debut.

Meanwhile, Ardal North West runners-up Porthmadog now know they'll face Knighton Town in next week's play-off final - with promotion to the Cymru North at stake.

Knighton beat Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 2-1 to secure runners-up spot in the Ardal North East on Saturday. The final will be held at Park Avenue in Aberyswyth on Tuesday (26th May) with kick off at 7.30pm.

Nantlle Vale clinched the Snowdonia Fire Protection Cup on Friday night, beating Nefyn United on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Treborth in Bangor.

United, who won the North Wales Coast West Premier Division title and the NWCFA Intermediate Cup, were denied a treble of their own as Math Jones equalised for the Penygroes club after Noa Griffith's opener.

Ashley Owen scored the deciding spot kick for Nantlle Vale, who could clinch runners-up spot in the league when they visit Talysarn Celts on Tuesday, while Nefyn travel to Mynydd Llandegai.
