There's growing concern for a missing 74 year-old man who was last seen near Bethesda.
Emergency services are carrying out extensive searches for Gregor, who parked his car at the Snowdonia Mountain Hostel at around 10.15am on Thursday morning.
Police say it's believed he planned to go hiking in the Carnedd Y Filiast area of Eryri.
Gregor is described as 5'10'' tall with short curly hair and may have been wearing a green T-shirt with brown trousers before he disappeared.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Multi-agency searches are ongoing, and we are appealing for anybody who saw Gregor yesterday or this morning to contact us immediately."
"We are also asking anybody who was walking in the area, particularly along the Atlantic Slab route, to check any photos they took in case Gregor may be in the background."
Anyone with information about Gregor's possible whereabouts should contact North Wales Police on 101 or via the live web chat, quoting reference no. O100150.
