A yacht with two people and two dogs on board ran aground in the Menai Strait.
The RNLI at Beaumaris was called out at around 6.20pm on Tuesday evening to help the vessel after it got stuck between Caernarfon and Y Felinheli.
No damage was found on board the yacht and help was given in deploying an anchor pending the incoming tide at 5am the following morning, allowing it to refloat.
A RNLI Beaumaris spokesperson said: "The crew aboard the vessel did the correct thing in advising the coastguard of their predicament, which ensured that a welfare check could be undertaken especially with the hot weather conditions being experienced at the time."
