A by-election will be held next month to elect a new Cyngor Gwynedd councillor for the Llanrug ward.
Six candidates are standing in the poll on Thursday 9th July, triggered by former Plaid Cymru councillor Beca Brown's election as a Senedd Member for the Gwynedd Maldwyn constituency.
The candidates are:
- Dewi Rhys Evans - Plaid Cymru
- Stacie Ingram - Welsh Conservatives
- Sue Macfarlane - Green Party
- Linda Park - Welsh Liberal Democrats
- Rhys Parry - Independent
- Terry Temple - Reform UK
Polling for the by-election - the first to be held locally since the Senedd elections - will be held between 7am and 10pm.
