Sgt Leigh McCann of the Roads Policing Unit said: "We are working to establish the full circumstances of this collision and would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or was travelling along the A5 near Ogwen Valley at the time to contact us."
"I am keen to hear from anyone with dash camera footage that may have captured either vehicle at the time of, or, prior to the collision."
