A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Pentraeth.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A5025 between Penygarnedd and Pentraeth Automative at just after 6.45am on Sunday.
The driver of a grey Peugeot 208 car, a 29 year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin have been informed.
A 22 year-old man, who was driving a gold Audi A5 Quattro, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road remained closed for almost nine hours before reopening on Sunday afternoon.
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Katie Davies from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “I share my deepest condolences with the man’s family at this incredibly difficult time.”
“I am appealing to anyone who was driving along the A5025 at around 6.30am on Sunday, and who may have witnessed the incident - or who may have relevant dash-cam footage - to come forward as soon as possible.
“Any information, no matter how small, could be vital to the investigation.”
