Preliminary works will take place on the Menai Suspension Bridge this week ahead of essential repairs to the crossbeams.
The bridge was temporarily closed to traffic last month after engineers found bolts on the beams which needed replacing.
The Welsh Government says preliminary work on permanent repairs will begin on Thursday - with one lane closed between 7.30am and 5pm - and continue until the following Wednesday (3rd December).
The bridge will be fully reopen over the weekend with no work being carried out.
A spokesperson said: "Timescales of installation for the permanent repair will be communicated once confirmed with UK Highways A55 Ltd. Thank you for your patience as this essential work is carried out."
