An inquest has heard an 82 year-old man died after he was found on fire in the garden of his home near Menai Bridge.
Julian Langley was pronounced dead by emergency services who were called to his home on Penmynydd Road on Sunday 19th April.
A hearing in Caernarfon was told that one of Mr Langley's neighbours heard him calling for help before he was discovered near a wood burner.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, who sent two crews from Benllech and Bangor, said a man's body was found outside the property.
The Wales Air Ambulance from Caernarfon also attended the scene, along with paramedics and police.
North West Wales coroner Kate Robertson said the cause of Mr Langley's death has not yet been determined.
The hearing was adjourned until a later date while a North Wales Police investigation continues.
