An injured walker was airlifted to hospital after he fell onto rocks north of Church Bay.
Six people were also rescued when a motorboat suffered engine damage off Ynys Y Fydlyn on Sunday afternoon.
The RNLI at Holyhead sent out its inshore and all-weather lifeboats at around 3.40pm after the motorboat had spotted an injured man on his own on the rocks.
Local cliff rescue teams from Holyhead and Cemaes Bay were also tasked to the scene by HM Coastguard.
When the inshore lifeboat arrived, they found the motorboat was unable to make headway after suffering engine damage.
Two RNLI crew members went ashore to treat the injured man, who had been unable to call for help himself after dropping his phone during the fall.
The six sailors were taken aboard the all-weather lifeboat and the damaged vessel was towed back to Llanfwrog, where she had travelled from.
Meanwhile, the Coastguard helicopter from Caernarfon was scrambled, along with the helimed team, to safely winch the injured walker who was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with suspected broken bones. He was later released following treatment.
Dave Roberts, senior helm at Holyhead RNLI, said: "We must give huge thanks to the occupants of the vessel for not only spotting the man and dialling 999 to contact the Coastguard – but who also sustained damage to their own craft while trying to help someone else."
"The casualty was very fortunate that he was spotted in such a remote location, and as a direct result, was able to be located and treated."
Holyhead RNLI coxswain Mark Wade added: "This was another challenging call, particularly as it turned into two rescues, but everyone involved worked well together, including our friends in the local cliff rescue teams."
"We were pleased to be able to assist the occupants of the vessel after their good deed, and we wish the injured walker a full and speedy recovery."
