Free parking will be available in all council-owned car parks in Gwynedd in the run-up to Christmas.
Fees will be suspended from 11am every day between Saturday 13th and Saturday 27th December 2025, in an effort to support local businesses.
Cllr Craig ab Iago, cabinet member for the environment, said: "Gwynedd's shops and businesses are a key part of the county's economy and we hope that the offer of parking in the run-up to Christmas will provide a welcome boost."
"As part of the effort, we will be offering free parking in Cyngor Gwynedd's public car-parks from 11am every day from 13 to 27 December this year."
"This will give residents the opportunity to take advantage of the parking offer and support the range of fantastic businesses that Gwynedd has to offer."
Normal parking fees will resume from Sunday 28th December. All pay and display machines in Cyngor Gwynedd car parks will be signposted.
