
Three people have been arrested after a woman was assaulted in Caernarfon town centre.
A 34 year-old woman was treated by paramedics on Pool Street following the alleged attack at around 10.30am on Sunday morning.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
Police say the suspects left Caernarfon in a van, which was later stopped on the A5 in Bethesda.
Two men, aged 29 and 58, and a 29 year-old woman are in custody, awaiting questioning on suspicion of wounding.
Detectives are not looking for anyone else, but they are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Patrols have stepped up in and around the Pool Street area.
Inspector Andrew Davies said: “We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to contact us immediately."
"I would like to reassure the local community that we are not looking for anybody else in connection with this incident and officers will remain in and around the area of Pool Street conducting enquiries.”
